Privacy policy

How Trust Translation Solutions collects, uses, and protects information. Sixteen numbered sections; the index stays with you as you read.

01

Who we are

Trust Translation Solutions is an interpreting and translation practice based in Central Virginia. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

02

Information we collect

We collect what you give us in a request or a message: your name, contact details, the language pair, the setting, and the date and place of an assignment. Documents you send for translation are handled as described in section 06.

03

How we use it

To confirm interpreter availability, deliver the service you asked for, and keep the records a professional practice is required to keep. We do not sell information, and we do not use it for advertising.

04

Confidentiality

Interpreters and translators working with us are bound by professional confidentiality. Assignment details are shared only with the interpreter assigned to that assignment.

05

Analytics

The site uses privacy-preserving analytics that set no cookies and do not follow you across sites. Analytics are off until you turn them on, and you can change that choice at any time from the footer.

06

Documents you send us

Documents are stored only as long as needed to complete and deliver the translation, plus any retention a certified translation requires. Tell us if you want a document deleted sooner.

07

How long we keep it

Request and assignment records are kept for as long as a professional practice is required to keep them, and no longer. Analytics data, if you have turned it on, is retained in aggregate only.

08

Who we share it with

The interpreter or translator assigned to your work, and the service providers that run our email, scheduling, and form intake. Nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers.

09

Where your information is processed

Our intake forms and email are operated by Google in the United States. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, your information is processed there.

10

Health information

Assignment details that touch on health are captured on controls we do not read outside the assignment, so the practice never holds that data independently of the interpreter who needs it.

11

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or withdraw consent to analytics. Requests are answered within thirty days.

12

Children

We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Interpreting for a minor is arranged by a parent, guardian, or the institution responsible for their care.

13

Security

Access to request records is limited to the people arranging and delivering the service. Documents in transit and at rest are held on encrypted services.

14

Marketing

We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it, and consent is never pre-checked on any form. Every message we do send carries an unsubscribe link.

15

Changes to this policy

Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date. The date at the foot of this page is the one in force.

16

Contact us about privacy

Write to us at the address on the contact page, or by post to the practice address, and mark the message for the attention of privacy.
